Amy Garelick is the founder and CEO of POWER UP Productions, a Richmond, VA based agency specializing in bite-sized filming sessions, full-scale video series, video podcast development, and marketing strategy. With over 30 years of experience, including more than 15 years with The Walt Disney Company and Special Event Production, Amy combines creative storytelling with strategic insight to help clients create impactful content that drives results.

At POWER UP Productions, Amy leads a team dedicated to humanizing brands in an increasingly AI-driven world through high-quality, memorable content. From bite-sized short form "NOSH" filming sessions to building consistent video channel series, Amy doesn’t just create videos or podcasts, she builds content engines that power entire marketing strategies. ​

Amy is a devoted community advocate and builder, dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and empowering local businesses. She serves on multiple boards, championing non-profits and associations by providing fractional marketing expertise to amplify their missions. She is also the founder of a women's networking organization - Women in Business RVA, LLC.​

When not in her Full Focus Video Studio or traveling for clients, she enjoys Disney adventures with her husband and two sons or time at home with her rescue pup and kitty, Princess Leia and Ashoka.
Andy Myers
Chief of Production
Andy Myers is the Chief of Production of POWER UP Productions, a Richmond, VA based agency specializing in bite-sized filming sessions, full-scale video series, video podcast development, and marketing strategy. Andy combines his 20 years of project management experience in the software development industry and a passion for storytelling into a unique skillset which allows him to visualize the entire video production process from start to finish and map each portion of the project into tangible artifacts or milestones to keep the schedule on track.
Andy works behind the camera and behind the keyboard to ensure every technical aspect of each project is meticulously crafted to create the best possible experience for our clients. From high end, multi-day filming projects to 30 second vertical promos, Andy treats each project with the same level of scrutiny and detail resulting in a deliverable they will be proud to use and reuse.
With high end technology at his disposal, Andy maps out each shot based on what will produce the best results. From set design, lighting placement, camera and lens selection to audio capture and manning the clapboard, every detail is planned and rehearsed prior to calling “Action!”
Having a strong technical background, Andy is comfortable in the editing studio organizing the captured data and piecing together each shot to develop the narrative. In addition to piecing clips together, he also color balances each clip and works with the director to achieve the overall desired color grade for the final product and even masters the audio to conform with the delivery platform. He maintains a Certified ScrumMaster certification and uses that knowledge and process to help manage the steady workflow of projects at POWER UP Productions and ensure no detail is left unfinished.
Andy loves to tell stories. He has participated 9 times in the Richmond 48 Hour Film Project and two of his films were selected as the “12 Best of Richmond” and has continued to grow a circle of like-minded filmmakers and actors in the Richmond who will participate together in the next one. When not creating content, Andy is a devoted Sci-Fi enthusiast and enjoys playing games and traveling with his amazing wife and daughter and their playful dog.
